Hendricks County Democrats will be
tabling at the event.
According to the Hendricks County Pride website, 1 in 6 Generation Z'ers openly identify as LGBTQ+.
As Hendricks County continues to grow, so does the LGBTQ+ community.
As citizens, we have a duty to our communities, youth, and ourselves to do the necessary work to create inclusive and safe environments, not only with our votes but in our daily lives.
Please stop by our booth, where we will be discussing protests and creating protest signs for your next march, community meeting, sit-in, etc.
If you have old protest signs or extra
protest sign-making supplies, we will be collecting them at the Family Picnic scheduled for WS Gibbs Park on June 21st. We plan to decorate the booth with the donated signs.
July 4th Parades
It's time for the July 4th Parades!
Get ready to celebrate our country's birthday in style! Join us on the Hendricks Co Dems parade float and stand up for democracy.
The Brownsburg parade lines up at 9 AM, with the parade starting at 10.
The Pittsboro parade lines up at 1 PM with the parade starting at 2.
When you sign up, you will receive a confirmation and a reminder about a day ahead of the parade.
It is very useful to our parade committee, so we know how many parade volunteers we have.
Plus, we will know how many more we need to fill the float. Please take a moment to sign up.
Parades are more fun with friends - so invite a few!
This is a great way to show Hendricks County that you are proud to stand up for positive Democratic values.

Action: Develop and implement a calendar of events and activities. i.e., town halls, front porch conversations, YouTube channel.
Outcome: Inform voters by organizing voter resources.
Action: Providing sample ballots, polling center info in real time, early candidate introductions, rides to polls.

Action: After initial training, establish a PC Committee to coordinate and facilitate training, resources, and accountability.

Action: Provide our candidates with training and preparation utilizing resources from the National, State, District, and County.
