Get ready to celebrate our country's birthday in style! Join us on the Hendricks Co Dems parade float and stand up for democracy.
The Brownsburg parade lines up at 9 AM, with the parade starting at 10.
The Pittsboro parade lines up at 1 PM with the parade starting at 2.
When you sign up, you will receive a confirmation and a reminder about a day ahead of the parade.
It is very useful to our parade committee, so we know how many parade volunteers we have.
Plus, we will know how many more we need to fill the float. Please take a moment to sign up.
Parades are more fun with friends - so invite a few!
This is a great way to show Hendricks County that you are proud to stand up for positive Democratic values.

The HCDP is a grantee of the Contest Every Race organization that works to get Democrats on the ballot so that Republicans don't win races automatically. One of the requirements of the grant is to identify a need in the community and then find a way to fill the need.
I was the Director of the Mill Creek Christian Support Center for 10 years (that is the Clayton Food Pantry). The MCCSC is open to all residents of Hendricks County. I called the current director to ask about what she had been hearing concerning food availability. Gleaners and Midwest Food Banks provide much of the food in pantries. Amazon and Walmart also provide bulk food and toiletries. Gleaners and Midwest have had their federal aid dollars decreased substantially, and Amazon refuses to supply toiletries. I am asking our party to help backfill this need for our community and fulfill the CER grant requirements at the same time.
Beginning now, please donate toilet paper, paper towels, and Kleenex. Bring these items whenever we gather for an event, or whenever you drive close to Linda's house. If this newsletter gets out before then, bring them to the Pride Festival. And to the parade on the 4th. And at the July monthly meeting. Then, at the end of July, a bunch of us will head over to Clayton and unload our treasures for the press!
Thanks, Linda!
